It was recorded at Mike (Moody Blues) Pinder's studio in the hills outside Los Angeles ( photo ) and featured a range of top American session players including Steve Cropper and Donald 'Duck' Dunn.

It was produced by Michael Boshears who had engineered two Little Feat albums.
